Assoc. Prof. Kai Hou Tianjin University, China Kai Hou received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in June 2016. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University, Tianjin, China. His research interests include reliability and resilience assessment of electric power and integrated energy systems. His main academic contribution can be summarized as follows: Dr. Hou is focused on "reliability and resilience assessment of integrated energy systems," with a particular emphasis on two key technologies: 1) Reliability assessment methods for integrated energy system operation that consider multiple stochastic factors. 2) Fast resilience assessment methods for integrated energy systems and precise enhancement techniques. Dr. Hou has published 27 SCI papers with first/corresponding authorship, including 1 hot paper, 3 ESI highly cited papers and 6 papers in multi-disciplinary field. He has authorized 16 national invention patents. He hosted 17 scientific research projects, including the General & Youth Programs of NFSC, the Special Founding & First-Class Programs of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He won 2 first prize of Provincial Science and Technology Awards, and has been supported by the Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program from CSEE. |
Dr. Yu Jin Tianjin University, China Dr. Yu Jin is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Tianjin University. He received his doctoral degree from Harbin Institute of Technology and was a visiting Ph.D. student at Aalborg University. His main research interests include distributed energy and distribution network/microgrids, multilevel converter technology and its application in battery energy storage systems, and other power electronics-based power systems topics. He is the principal investigator of 6 items of representative national/governmental-supported funding, including the National Natural Science Foundation (Youth Program), China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (Special Foundation Program), Subproject of National Key Research and Development Program of China, Open Project of Ministry of Education Key Laboratory, and etc. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published more than 10 papers in top SCI journals (top 20% on Journal Citation Ranking from the Chinese Academic of Science), including more than 10 top IEEE Trans. Papers (one ESI highly-cited paper as the first author). He holds more than 10 granted invention patents. In addition, he was awarded the honor of Excellent Reviewer of the top SCI journal (zone 1 from Chinese Academic of Science). He has served as guest editor of several SCI and Chinese Core Journals. He is a Senior Member of the China Electrotechnical Society and a member of the China Electrical Engineering Society. He also serves as the publicity chairman/organizing committee member of International EI Conferences, forum co-chair of the International SCI Conference, and serves as a reviewer of top SCI journals such as IEEE Transactions on Power Systems/Smart Grid/Industrial Electronics/Power Delivery/Power Electronics. |
